- Event23 February 2021Walkathon up the Amazon RiverDear Parents We are very excited to announce that we are taking part in a 6400 kilometre Walkathon up the Amazon River! We hope all our children will take part and help raise money to buy books for the school library. Walk or run each day and keep a record of your total; the whole family can join in too! 1km = 1,250 steps. Every Friday let us know your total on Seesaw and we will keep a school total. - Important4 January 2021School Closure/Critical WorkersDear Parents As per the Government announcement this evening, SCD school will remain closed until February half term, with the exception of children of critical workers and vulnerable children (EHCP, PPG). If your child/ren attended school during the spring lockdown and you still meet the critical worker/vulnerable children criteria, your child/ren can attend school tomorrow, usual time 8:55am to 3:30pm, line up in the same area as you did during the autumn term. For children requiring morning and afterschool club, this will be available as usual from 8:00am tomorrow, buzz in as normal. If your circumstances have changed and you think you now meet the criteria, please email the school by tomorrow lunchtime to make arrangements. Further information for children remaining at home will be sent out in due course. Kind Regards
