Assessment Information
At Shaw-cum-Donnington CE Primary School, promoting children’s learning is our principle aim. Accurate marking and assessment of the children’s attainment and progress lies at the heart of this. It should provide a framework in which educational objectives can be set and pupils’ progress charted and expressed. It should provide a basis for planning the next educational steps in response to children’s needs. We aim for children to become reflective learners and help them to close any gap between current and high performance. Quality marking, feedback and assessment supports the raising of attainment.
